KERSTING, MRS. ELIZABETH JOSEPHINE
Route 3, Burlington, Wis.
Age 79. Passed away Jan, 1, 1960, at her home, after a long illness. Mrs. Kersting was born in the Town of Wheatland on Sept, 1, 1880 In New Munster, Wis. on Sept. 1, 1903, she was married to John Kersting, who preceded her in death.
They lived in Slades Corners all their married life. She was a member of Holy Name Church, Wilmot, and St. Anne's Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are one son, Elmer, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Stine, Twin Lakes, Wis. and Mrs. Earl Smith, Route 3, Burlington; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Henry and Joseph Althoff, Kenosha, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Barbian of Burlington, all preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 4, 9:30 a.m. in the McCarthy Rueter Funeral Home, Burlington, and 10:30 a.m. in Holy Name Church, Wilmot, with interment in Holy Name Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCARTHY RUETER FUNERAL HOME, 681 Geneva St., Burlington, this (Saturday) evening after 6 o'clock and until service time. The Rosary will be recited Sunday evening, 7:30.
