Mrs. Anna Althoff, Long Resident of
New Munster, Dies Saturday
Morning at Home on Huron Street.

Mrs. Anna Althoff, wife of Henry J. Althoff, died early Sunday morning at the home at 671 Huron avenue, following a lingering illness. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernhart Lois, two pioneer residents of the village of New Munster, having been born there November 24, 1871. Until three years ago she had lived in the town of New Munster where she had many friends and relatives. She is survived by her husband and by several children all of whom were at the bedside when the final summons came. The funeral services were held this morning at nine thirty at the St. Thomas Church with interment following in the family plot at the St. James Cemetery.
