Research notes for Josephine

Lost track after 1930 census so I went hunting...

FOUND THIS --> 1940 Census Record

This looked promising as I was think it was more likely she married after 1930 than passed without record.

More hunting led to this --> Find a Grave

That's the right year and middle initial...but now let's check...

SSDI
Name: Josephine A. Johnson
SSN: 390-03-2874
Last Residence:

BORN: 29 Apr 1899
Died: 26 Oct 1998

The changed initial to A is common -- often women use the initial of their maiden name, in this case Althoff.

I'm pretty sure this is her...just need to see if I can track down an obit.

And I found the obit. Woot! Glad I didn't lose ya Jo!
