Beatrice E. Barbian, 67, 701 Highway DD, Burlington, died Saturday (June 3, 1989) at Memorial Hospital, Burlington.
The daughter of the late Louis and Lillian (Goyke) Gandt, she was born April 18, 1922 in Wilmot.
She spent her early life in Wilmot and Slades Corners, and attended schools in Fox River and Slades Corners.
On Aug. 17, 1942, in Waukegan, Ill., she married Leo A. Barbian. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Wilmot, Bassett and Wheatland, and in Burlington since 1974.
A school bus driver, she drove for seven years for the Wheatland Center School.
Surviving her are her husband, of Wheatland; five sons, Gerald Lee, Lawrence Leo and Joseph Leonard, all of Burlington, Gary Leon, Honey Lake, and James Lloyd, Salem; six daughters, Judith Lee Tuchalski, Rochester, Jean Lou Sokolowski, Honey Lake, Joan Laura Ehlen, Burlington, Joy Louise Blaha, Kansasville, Jody Lin Regner, Lily Lake, and Jill Linda Pyan, Milwaukee, and 21 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis "Coon," Herbert and Russel "Bud."
The Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, Burlington, is in charge of arrangements.
BARBIAN-Funeral services for the late Beatrice E. Barbian, who passed away June 3, 1989 at Memorial Hospital, Burlington, will be held Wednesday, June 7, 1989 at 11:00 A.M. at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 157 S. Pine St., Burlington. Interment in Wilmot Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 5th from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
