Mary Catherine (Althoff) Seidemann, 79, 8051 25th Ave., died Monday (May 29, 1995) at her residence.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Scherrer) Althoff, she was born Dec. 20, 1915, in New Munster. She attended Kenosha schools, St. Catherine High School, Racine, and Chicago Medical College, Chicago.
On Sept. 5, 1970, she married Elmer Arno Seidemann at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
A physical therapist, she worked at St. Mary's Hospital, Racine, retiring in 1970. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and its Altar Society, Senior Citizens, and was a former member of St. Catherine's Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are a stepson, Richard Seidemann, Sheboygan; a stepdaughter, Marion Kester, Oakfield; a brother, John Althoff, Kenosha; seven stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers, Frank, Edward and Leon.

SEIDEMANN-Funeral services for Mary Catherine (Althoff) Seidemann, who passed away on May 29th, will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 6:30 P.M., with the celebration of Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will be in Green Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at St. Thomas Church on Thursday from 5:30 P.M. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Thomas Church would be appreciated by the family. Bruch Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
