Elmer A. Seidemann, 66, 7547 28th Ave., died at Memorial Hospital Saturday following a short illness.
He was born in Newburg, Wis., on July 22, 1909, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Seidemann.
He had resided in Kenosha since 1927.
On Aug. 1, 1936, he married Olive Seidemann at Grace Lutheran church. She died on April 30, 1967. On Sept. 5, 1970, at St. Thomas Aquinas church, he married Mary Althoff.
Mr. Seidemann was employed as a machinist at Snap-on Tools Corp. for 42 years prior to his retirement on July 22, 1974.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran church; Masonic Lodge 47, F and AM; the Eagles club, and Machinists Lodge 34.
Survivors besides his wife are a son, Richard, Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Marion) Kester, Oakfield, Wis.; seven grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Klahn, Mrs. Lewis Bratz and Mrs. Raymond Zoellner, all of Milwaukee.
Mr. Seidemann was preceded in death by four brothers, Irvin, William, Henry and Edward.
SEIDEMANN-Funeral services for the late Elmer A. Seidemann, of 7547 28th Avenue, who passed away on August 16th, will be held on Tuesday morning, August 19th, at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church. Interment in Green Ridge Cemetery. The Kenosha Masonic Lodge No. 47 F. & A.M. will conduct services at 7:00 P.M. on Monday evening at the funeral home. Friends may call at the Mischler's Home for Funerals from 6:00 until 9.00 P.M. on Monday (TODAY).
