John Kersting, 76, Of Wheatland, Dies
John M. Kersting, 76, Wheatland township, died yesterday at his home following a long illness. He was born in Lily Lake, Wis., March 20, 1876, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kersting. On Sept. 1, 1903, he married Miss Elizabeth Althoff in New Munster. He was a farmer by trade, retiring 15 years ago and was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church, Wilmot.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by a son and two daughters, Elmer and Mrs. Earl Smith, both of Lily Lake; Mrs. Harold Stine, Twin Lakes; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
