Harold C. Stine, 60, 427 Burlington Rd., Twin Lakes, died at his home this morning following a long illness.
He was born in Missouri on Aug. 8, 1908, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stine. He spent his early life in Missouri and attended schools there, and came to Burlington in 1927.
On April 6, 1931, in Illinois, he married Magdalene Kersting.
Mrs. Stine moved to Twin Lakes in 1951. He was a carpenter, and was a member of St. John Catholic church, Twin Lakes.
Survivors besides his widow are two daughters, Mrs. Hester (Eileen) Davis, Lily Lake, and Mrs. James (Carol) McBride, Fort Riley, Kan.; three granddaughters; four brothers, Wilbur, Rolla and Charles Stine, all of Westfield, Wis., and Lonny, Honey Creek, Wis.; a half brother, Lester Cochran, Burlington, and two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Genvieve) Bowen, of Indiana, and Mrs. Len (Helen) Fischer, West.
STINE - Funeral services the late Harold C. Stine, Twin Lakes, who passed away October 21, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, from St. John's Catholic Church, Twin Lakes. Father G. Nuedling officiating. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Rosary services 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the McCarthy-Rueter Funeral Home, 473 Milwaukee Avenue, Burlington, Wis.
