Age 68. Passed away Monday, November 17, 1975 at St. Clair Hospital in Monroe, Wis. Mr. Richter was born in the Town of Wheatland, Wis. on August 14, 1907 to Bernard Richter and Margaret Epping. He spent his early life in New Munster, was educated at St. Alphonsus School in New Munster and was a 1925 Graduate Of Burlington High School. On August 20, 1930, at St. Charles Church in Burlington, be was united in marriage to the former Eleanor Ketterhagen. Following their marriage they lived in East Troy for two years Before moving to Burlington. Mr. Richter was the Owner and Operator of the Wilson-Richter Oil Co. and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, Catholic Order of Foresters and the Burlington Kiwanis Club. Surviving are his wife, Eleanor; one, son and daughter-in-law, Jerald and Janice Richter of Burlington; one daughter, Carol Richter of Burlington; five grandchildren; one brother, Bert Richter of Rt. 3, Burlington. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 19 after 4 p.m. at the MC CARTHY - KOENIG FUNERAL HOME, 473 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington. The Rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Funeral Home. Memorials to the Cancer Society appreciated.
