William H. Krause died at his home in this city last Thursday. He had been in failing health for a long time which compelled him to retire from his farm near Marshfield. Recently he and Mrs. Kruase came to live in Brillion.
The deceased was born at Fond du Lac in Sept. 4, 1870. In 1900 he was united in marriage to Miss Clara Richter on Oct. 11, 1910. The young couple resided here for nine years after which they moved to the farm near Marshfield which they operated for 27 years. They disposed of their farm and moved to Brillion, where they have resided for the past two months.
He is survived by the widow and three daughters, Mrs. Sheldon(Mabel) Doughty of Fish Creek, Mrs. Myrtle Pearson and Mrs. Chester (Florence) Fullerton of Milwaukee. There are two brothers, Herman of Manitowoc and Edwin of Curtis. Also three sisters, Mrs. Frances Ecke, Mrs. Amanda Hoffman and Mrs. Ida Grone, all of Menasha. There are five grandchildren. One child died in infancy.
The funeral was held last Monday from the Koch funeral parlors, Rev. Seigel officiating. Interment was in the public cemetery.
