Family tradition Christmas gifts were her knit slippers for everyone, and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren have monkey of rabbit dolls, or afghans as a remembrance. Married

Miss Myrtle Krause, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Krause of the town of Lincoln, and Ray Pearson of this city, were united in marriage on Thursday of last week, the ceremony being performed by R. E. Andrews, a justice of the peace, in his law office over the American National Bank. Following the ceremony the wedding party drove to the home of the bride's parents where a wedding supper was served.

The bride, an attractive young lady, is quite well known here having lived in this vicinity most of her life. About six months ago she returned from Chicago where for some time she was employed as operator in a telephone exchange. The groom who is quite well known here, especially in railroad circles came to this city from Charleston, Illinois, where his parents, a highly respected family, reside. He is a young man of good habits and during his short residence here has made many friends. He is an ex-service man and was stationed overseas a part of his enlisted period. Since coming here he has worked the Soo Line railroad as car repairer. For the present they will make their home with the bride's parents until such time as they can establish a home in this city.
