William Jasper Pettey, age 84, of 3406 So. 54th St., Milwaukee, passed away on August 12, 1992 at home.

Mr. Pettey was born July 14, 1908, in Brillion, son of the late William H. and Elizabeth Krueger Pettey. He married Thelma Richter on Oct. 27, 1932 at Waukegan, Ill. He was employed at Nordberg Mfg. Co. for 31 years. He was a 1924 graduate of Brillion High School. He moved to Milwaukee in 1941.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma; one daughter and son-in-law: Donna and Ralph Stevens of Thiensville; one sister, Grace (Pettey) Ward of Houston, Texas; many sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral Services were at 12:30 p.m. on Friday., Aug. 14 at Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, with the Rev. Quentin Moeschberger officiating. Interment was at the Brillion Community Cemetery.
