Jim W. Flynn, 65, Rt. 1, Suring, died this morning at a Green Bay hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1914, in Portand, Ore. and married Alice Richter on Dec. 7, 1935, in Suring. Mr. Flynn owned and operated Flynn Tavern in Breed for 40 years.
He was involved in numerous clubs and organizations around the area. Mr. Flynn, an Army veteran of World War II, was a member of the Suring American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign War in Mountain.
Survivors include his wife, Alice; one daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Callie) Smith, Suring; one son, William L., Suring; one brother, Milo, Suring; two sisters, Mrs. Joyce Hougaard, Egg Harbor; Mrs. Harold (Gladice) LaCkore, Fla., and nine grandchildren.
Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Soulek Funeral Home. Suring, after 4 p.m. today. Prayer servince 8 tonight. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Suring with the Rev. Frank Melchior officiating. Burial in Breed Union Cemetery, Breed.
