RICHTER-TREBON WEDDING
Lawrence Richter and Miss Christena Trebon were united in marriage at St. Mary's church in Rock Valley Wednesday morning.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Trebon of this city. She is a talented and accomplished young lady of many good qualities. She has grown to womanhood in Rock Valley and is a young lady who is very highly thought of by all who know her. The groom is well known here, having lived in Rock Valley and vicinity practically all his life, and is popular with a large number of friends. He is engaged in the Auto repair business at the Ford Garage.
Following the ceremony a sumptuous wedding dinner was served at the Warren Hotel, where the tables were appropriately decorated for the occasion.
The bride and groom left in the afternoon for the lakes where they will spend a few days, and later return to Rock Valley, where they will make their home.

Lawrence Richter dies at Veteran's hospital Tuesday
Lawrence L. Richter, 69, a lifelong resident, died Tuesday at the Sioux Falls Veteran's hospital after several years of failing health with asthma.
He was born here, July 13, 1892, and married Christina Trebon, June 25, 1924. He served in World War I, operated a service station here for a number of years, and also worked for a seed corn firm. He retired several years ago.
Survivors are the widow, two sons, Richard and Robert of Rock Valley, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic church with Father Ralph Reinhart officiating. Rosary will be held Thurs., 3 o'clock at the Vander Ploeg funeral home. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Vander Ploeg funeral home in charge.
