Robert E. Olson, 53, Kenosha, died Tuesday, August 3, 1999, at Kenosha Hospital & Medical Center.
Born in Eau Claire October 28, 1945, he was the son of the late Raymond and Helen (Trebon) Olson. He attended Catholic schools in Eau Claire and graduated from North High School in 1964. On February 10, 1968, at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls, he married Mary L. Blomlie. He was a machinist for over 20 years at Dynamic Corporation, last working in 1984. He was a wood craftsman and enjoyed shopping for collectible items and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Kenosha; three daughters, Chris, Julie and Kathy; and one son, Robert, all of Kenosha; three brothers, Dick and Ken Olson of Eau Claire and Chuck of Kenosha; two sisters, Clarice Larson of Eau Claire and Rita Andrews of Spooner; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ione Schoettle and Evelyn Krippner; and his father-in-law, Julian Blomlie.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 6, 1999, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Kenosha. Interment will be in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
Visitation will be today, August 5, 1999, at Bruch Funeral Home, 3503 Roosevelt Road, Kenosha, WI, 53142, from 5 p.m., with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Friends and family are invited to meet at the funeral home Friday morning at 9 a.m. for a procession to St. Thomas Church.
