Warren W. Abbs, 79, of Tampa. Fla., formerly of Dunkerton, died Nov. 27, 1998, at University Community Hospital, Tampa, of natural causes.

He was born in Oak Park, Ill. He married Beata Harriett Schmidt and she preceded him in death.

Mr. Abbs was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was employed as a general contractor in Palatine, Ill.

Survived by: a son, Arthur W. of Hoover, Ala.; two daughters, Arlene A. Perlick of Granite Bay, Calif., and Beata J. Abbs of Odessa, Fla.; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, June Ritter of Elmwood Park, Ill.

Memorial services: will be in Dunkerton. All County Funeral Home & Crematory, Lake Worth, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
