Roberta M. Satterlee Cronan, 67, of Waterloo, died Monday, Dec. 6, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born April 13, 1943, in Waterloo, daughter of Robert and Maxine Pink Satterlee. She married Jesus Alaniz in 1962 in Los Angeles, and they later divorced. She married Charles Cronan on Aug. 2, 1978, in Kirksville, Mo., and they later divorced.

She was a 1960 graduate of Waterloo West High School and attended Gates Business College. She had worked at Allen Memorial Hospital, APAC and for AARP.

Survived by: a daughter, Nancy (John Howe) Peekenschneider of Waterloo; three sons, Robert (Susan) Alaniz and Ron Alaniz, both of Waterloo, and Joshua (Darek Harley) Cronan of Minneapolis; a granddaughter; three sisters, Becky Dumler, Nancy Satterlee and Betty Harris, all of Waterloo; and three brothers, Bob and Ron Satterlee, both of Waterloo, and Dick Satterlee of Cedar Falls.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church. Her body was cremated, and her ashes will be scattered by family.
