O. P. Snader, 58, 421 Conger street, an engineer for Illinois Central railroad, died at 2:30 a. m. today in a local hospital after a four weeks' illness.
Mr. Snader underwent an operation for ulcerated stomach and appendicities a week ago. He rallied following the operation, but later uremic poisoning set in.
Mr. Snader had been an Illinois Central employe for 35 years. In late years he was engineer on the crack train, Hawkeye Limited, with his run established between Waterloo and Fort Dodge.
He was born Feb. 3, 1871, in Carroll county, Md., coming to Iowa Falls, Ia. when 19. He was married to Miss Emma Wagner at Quasqueton, Ia., June 27, 1900.
Surviving are the widow, a brother, Elwood Snader, New Windsor. Md., and a sister, Mrs. Ida Zollekoffer, Uniontown, Md. His mother and father, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. One brother, John Sander, died just a month ago at New Windsor.
The body is at O'Keefe & Towne mortuary.

Masonic committal services for, Oden P. Snader, 421 Conger Street, Illinois Central engineer, who died last February, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday in Memorial Park cemetery, in chargé of Truman DeRoame. The remains have been at the O'Keefe & Towne mortuary since Snader's death.
