A Burlington resident since 1900, Mrs. Kathryn Rossmiller, 72, 509 Geneva St., died Saturday at her home following a long illness.
Mrs. Rossmiller was born Sept. 12, 1880, in the Town of Wheatland. She moved, with her parents, to Rock Valley, Iowa, and lived there until 1900 when she returned to Burlington.
In Nov. 28, 1906, she was married to Henry Rossmiller at St. Mary's church. He preceded her in death in 1941.
She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's church, a member of the Christian Mothers and the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors are four sons, Herbert, Everett, Charles and Loyall, all of Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Cooney, Burlington; two 'sisters, Mrs. Clarence Ogden, Lennox, S. D., and Miss Julia Richter, Rock Valley, Iowa; two brothers, Lawrence and Alfred Richter, Rock Valley, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a. m. at St. Mary's, church, Rev. J. J. Heim officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
