Services for Charles H. Trumbauer, 69, of 219 Fifth St., will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel of Memories West, Waterloo, with burial at Garden of Memories, Waterloo.
He died at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, at 10:45 p.m. Sunday of a stroke.
He was born June 7, 1906, in Dunkerton, the son of Henry and Cora Trumbauer. He married Grace V. Liebert July l, 1931, in Dunkerton.
He worked for John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 26 years, retiring in 1969.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Alvin L. of 4025 Scenic Dr., Waterloo, Robert E. of 1633 Robin Rd., Waterloo, and Gary L. of Independence; three daughters, Mrs. Zelma Jones of 219 Fifth St., Mrs. Darlene Hanley of 1519 Commercial St., Waterloo, and Mrs. Bonnie Decker of Janesville; two brothers, Rev. Paul of Elbert Field. Ind., and Rev. Clyde of Gary, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Wheeler of Dunkerton.
A memorial has been established in his name.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Tuesday until services.
