DUNKERTON
Gladys Iola Wheeler, 98, formerly of Dunkerton, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Elizabeth E. Martin Health Care Center, Cedar Falls, of natural causes.
She was born Sept. 10, 1912, in rural Dunkerton, daughter of Henry A. and Cora Trumbauer. She married Harry Wheeler on Feb. 16, 1956, in Preston, Minn. He died Dec. 11, 1974.
Mrs. Wheeler was a homemaker and a member of United Methodist Church, Dunkerton.
Survived by: a brother, Clyde (Joyce) Trumbauer of Elkhart, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: two brothers, Charles and Paul Trumbauer.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, Waterloo, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Dunkerton. Public visitation for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
