Gary Lee Trumbauer Sr., 61, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, April 2, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.

He was born Dec. 24, 1946, in Waterloo, son of Charles and Grace Liebert Trumbauer. He married Gloria Jean Miller on March 18, 1972, in Dyersville.

Mr. Trumbauer was a truck driver for Art Pape Transfer Inc. for 17 years, retiring Aug. 24, 2007.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Kenneth (Deb) McManigle of Stanley and Gary Lee Jr. (Angi) of Tonica, Ill.; three daughters, Rita (Mark) Hillman of Stanley, Debbie (Garrett) Siebert of Mendota, Ill., and Tammy Trumbauer of Waterloo; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin (Bert) of Independence and Robert (Sandy) of Waterloo; and three sisters, Darlene (Harold) Handley of Waukee, Bonnie (Jack) Decker of Harpers Ferry and Zelma (Chuck) Jones.

Preceded in death by: his parents.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball. Visitation an hour before services at the chapel.
