WHEATLAND
Mrs. Gertrude Richter, aged 65 years, passed away on Friday afternoon after a long lingering illness. Mrs. Richter was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krift and was married to Alphons B. Richter in May, 1890, and her entire life was spent in this vicinity. Her husband passed in August, 1928, also a daughter, Mrs. Anthony Dauben. Deceased is suvived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry Lois of New Munster, Mrs. Ed. Schlitz of Burlington; and four sons: Ben of New. Munster, Lawrence, Sylvester and Edward at home, and seven grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Krift of Burlington and William Krift of Wheatland; and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Schuerman of this place and Mrs. Matilda Busch of Milwaukee.
Funeral services were held Tuesday moning at St. Alphonsus church at New Munster, Rev. Pierron officiating, assisted by Rev. Leonard Busch, nephew of deceased, deacon, and Rev. E. B. Schiefen of Kansasville, sub-deacon, and Russell Beix of Burlington. Burial was had in the cemetery at New Munster. Sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved family.

Linneman, Mrs. J. P. Verhalen, Miss Jeanette LaMarsh of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Mich. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Quirk of Kenosha; Rose and Frank Uhlenhake of Rockford.
