MRS. ANTHONY DAUBEN DIES ON SATURDAY
Mrs. Anthony Dauben, well known in this city, passed away Saturday at the Burlington Memorial hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Dauben had undergone an operation on Thursday.
The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Richter, and was born on a farm in the township of Burlington. Her early life, in fact, all of her life, was spent in that township, for, following her marriage to Anthony Dauben, she lived on the old Dauben farm on Highway southeast of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Dauben were married at St. Alphonsus church, New Munster, on May 1, 1918.
Mrs. Dauben is survived by her husband, Anthony Dauben, and one son, Francis. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. A. B. Richter; four brothers, Ben of New Munster; Lawrence, Sylvester and Edward, all residing at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Lois, New Munster, and Mrs. Edward Schlitz, Burlington.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 9 oclock from St. Charles' Catholic church, of this city, The Rev. Father Hillenbrand will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Charles cemetery.
