Clarence Andrew Dorn, 70, away at his residence on Monday, December 13, 1999.
A lifetime resident, he was born in Burlington on July 21, 1929 to Andrew Frederick and Margaret V. (nee: Baumeister) Dorn. He was united in marriage on September 27, 1950, to Mary Agnes Schranz at St. Mary's in Burlington. She preceded him in death on June 1, 1985. On January 16, 1988, he was united in marriage to Ella Mae Kerkman Butler at St. John's in Twin Lakes.
Mr. Dorn received his education at Rochester Agricultural School. He was a Dairy Farmer. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington, an usher at church, a member of AMPI, and an avid bowler.
Surviving are his wife, Ella Mae Dorn of Burlington; daughters, Judy (David) Klosinski of Wind Lake and Susan (Lee) Liebenstein of Oregon; step-daughters, Judy (Bob) Wagner of Bohners Lake, Joanne (George) Grady of Twin Lakes, Jan (Dennis) Elfering of Brighton, and Jill (Mike) Dunklau of Slades Corners; sons, Andrew (Katherine) Dorn of Burlington and Timothy (Susan) Dorn of Union Grove; step-sons, Jeff (Cindy) Butler of Slades Corners and Jim (Debbie) Butler of Slades Corners; 22 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward (Donna) Dorn of Burlington; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Mary Agnes Schranz-Dorn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington on Friday, December 17, 1999, at 10 a.m. with Rev. David Reith and Rev. James Volkert officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery on Friday. Friends may call at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m.
