Robert "Bob" A. Ogden, age 70, of Chippewa Falls, WI, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at his residence.
Bob was born on October 21, 1943, to Herman and Evelyn (Pendelton) Ogden in La Crosse, WI. As a teenager Bob was a butcher's apprentice, and was a butcher his entire life. He was also a pig farmer. After graduating high school he enrolled into the United States Navy and was honorably discharged.
Bob loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting. He was married to his first wife, Janet C. Werner, on November 12, 1966, who preceded him in death in 2005. He then married his second wife, Charlene King, on June 6, 2009, who he met during one of his favorite pastimes, playing Bingo.
He will be missed by family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife, Charlene; son, Scott (Julie); daughters, Judy (Lee) Curtiss and Ann (Todd) Stelzer; stepsons, Jason (Wendi) King, Patrick (Kim) King and Justin King; stepdaughter, Tanya King; grandchildren, Ethan Ogden, Justin, Joey and Stephan Curtiss, Chaning Ogden and Dakota Stelzer; stepgrandchildren, Liam and Sydney King, Isabelle and Andrew King, Nathan, Kaylee and Keko King, Alexander and Adriana King; and his loving dog, Jake.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
