Age 91. Passed away March 6, 1964 in the Burlington Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ketterhagen was born in Burlington on Jan. 4, 1873, son of the late Zacharius and Mary Betting Ketterhagen, spent his early life in Burlington, attended St. Mary's School and had been a lifelong resident of Burlington. In New Munster, on May 29, 1900, he was married to the former Anna M. Busch, who preceded him in death on Dec. 14, 1960. He was a farmer. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington, Holy Name Society and Catholic Order of Foresters. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. William May, Mrs. Fred Wieners, Mrs. Robert Warren and Mrs. Cletus Daniels; five sons, Roland, Ralph, Cyril, Roman and James, all of Burlington; 46 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; one brother, Martin, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Gerhard Brooks, Rochester and Mrs. Joseph Schiefer, Burlington. Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Burlington. Msgr. Joseph J. Heim officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCARTHY - RUETER FUNERAL HOME, 481 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington. Sunday after 2 p.m. The Rosary will be recited Sunday evening, 8 o'clock.
