Age 89. Passed away at Oak Ridge Care Center, Union Grove, Wis. on Thursday, November 3, 1994. He was born in Burlington, Wis., on July 20, 1905, to Benjamin and Anna (nee: Busch) Katterhagen. He spent his early life in Burlington, Wis. and attended Burlington, Wis. area schools. On February 15, 1928, in Burlington, Wis., he was united in marriage to Clara M. Siehoff, who preceded him in death on March 8, 1991. He resided in Brighton Township, Wis. following marriage. He was a Farmer and had retired from Pure Milk Association of Kansasville, Wis. He was a resident of Union Grove, Wis. for over 50 years. He was a charter member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Union Grove, Wis., where he also served on the Building Committee. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Philip (Donna) Katterhagen of Walworth, Wis.; five daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth (Clifford) Noll of Caledonia, Wis., Rose (Nick) Fettes of Kansasville, Wis., Arlene (Milo) Fritchen of Union Grove, Wis., Shirley (Dennis) Shauer of Waukegan, Ill., and Mary (Myron) Bohn of Footville, Wis.; 27 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Cyril (Zeta) Ketterhagen, Roman (Verena) Ketterhagen, and James (Bernice) Ketterhagen; two sisters, Cordella May, all of Burlington, Wis. and Alice Daniels of New Munster, Wis.; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Ketterhagen of Burlington, Wis. and Ursula Ketterhagen of Salem, Wis.; one brother-in-law, Clarence Trimberger of Madison, Wis. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; three brothers, Ralph, Clarence, and infant Victor; and two sisters, Mabel Weiners and Lorraine Warren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 6, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Union Grove, Wis., with Rev. Charles Conley officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dover Township, Wis. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 until 7 p.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Memorials to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church have been suggested.
