Passed away on February 15, 1992, at his residence at the age of 79 years. He was born on December 31, 1912, in Burlington to Ben and Anna Busch Ketterhagen. He was a lifelong resident of Burlington. Mr. Ketterhagen attended St. Mary's School. On September 27, 1941, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brighton, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Vanderwerff. Following his marriage he moved to Burlington. Mr. Ketterhagen was a former general manager of Wisconsin So. Gas Co. and former president of Gas Appliances, Inc., both of Lake Geneva. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Knights of Columbus, and a former member of Lake Geneva Kiwanis. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Dennis (Carol) Ketterhagen of Wheaton, Ill., Daniel Ketterhagen of Walworth, Wis.; four grandsons, Tim, Kurt, Kyle, and Scott; four brothers, Roland Ketterhagen of Union Grove, Cyril (Zita) Ketterhagen of Burlington, Roman (Verena) Ketterhagen of Burlington, James (Bernice) Ketterhagen of Burlington; three sisters, Cordella (William) May of Burlington, Lorriane Warren of Wheatland, Alice Daniels of New Munster; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Clarence and one sister, Mabel Wieners. Funeral services will be held TODAY (Monday) from 4 until 8 p.m. at McCarthy-Koenig Funeral Home. A Vigil Service will be held TODAY (Monday) at 6:30 p.m. Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. James Volkert officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
