Cletus B. May, 73, passed away Monday, January 21, 2008, at Memorial Hospital of Burlington. He was born July 16, 1934, in Burlington, to William and Cordella (nee: Ketterhagen) May. Cletus was a lifetime resident of Burlington. On November 20, 1954, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington, Cletus was united in marriage to Marjorie Isferding. He was a St. Mary's High School graduate. He worked as a Welder for Trent Tube in East Troy and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lyons. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie May of Burlington; children, Steven (Shari) May of Columbus, Ohio, Kathy (Stefan) Romanski of Broadhead, Carolyn (David) Wilson of Minocqua, Jim May of Burlington, Linda (Robert) Kendall of Lyons, Tom May of Burlington, Scott (Michelle) May of Delavan, and Joan (Keith) Schmidt of Sun Prairie; and by grandchildren, Brian, Bill, Emily, Cameron, Matthew, Patrick, Cody, Abbey, and Austin. He is further survived by brothers, Robert (Carole) May of Lake Geneva and Ralph (Dorothy) May of Burlington. Cletus was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son, Danny May. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2008, at 12 noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lyons with Rev. John Baumgartner officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
