Mrs. T. J. Richter, 93, Of Burlington, Dies
Mrs. Theodore J. Richter, 93, of Burlington, died Sunday.
She was born in Wheatland on March 1, 1867, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Vos. She attended St. Alphonse School in New Munster.
On Feb. 7, 1888, she married Theodore Richter. They lived on farms in Burlington and Brighton township before moving to Burlington 40 years ago. He died on April 7, 1953.
She was a member of St. Charles church, its Altar Society and Rosary Society.
Mrs. Richter was survived by three sons, Frank and Elmer of Burlington, and William of Silver Lake; six daughters, Mrs. Laura Daniels of Brighton, Mrs. Florence Robers and Mrs. Celeste Fonk of Kenosha, Mrs. Leona Epping of Salem, Mrs. Alice Robers of Lyon and Mrs. Irene Kelly of Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Christine Merrick of Milwaukee; 49 grandchildren and 117 great-grandchildren.
RICHTER—Funeral services for the late Mrs. Theodore J. (Elizabeth) Richter, Burlington, Wisconsin, will be held Wednesday, August 3rd, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Charles Church, Burlington. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCarthy-Rueter Funeral Home, Burlington. Tuesday after 3 p.m. Rosary services Tuesday evening.
