Frank T. Richter, 92. of Burlington, formerly of Kenosha County, died Wednesday at Burlington Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Oct. 24, 1888 in Burlington, the son of Theodore and Elizabeth (Voss) Richter. He attended school at Duckett in Burlington and St. Alphonsus in New Munster.
He married Verna Epping on Feb. 13, 1917 at St. Alphonsus Church. She died on Sept. 15, 1979.
He farmed for 57 years at Route 3 in Kenosha County.
He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, a former member of St. Alphonsus church, a former trustee of St. Alphonsus, a board member of Brighton Farmers Insurance, and past president and charter member of the Pure Milk Association in Silver Lake.
He is survived by a son, Ray, of Burlington; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Shirley) Meyer, of Burlington; a brother, Elmer of Burlington; five sisters, Mrs. Leo (Florence) Robers, Mrs. Sylvester (Leona) Epping and Mrs. Celeste Fonk, all of Kenosha, and Mrs. Irene Kelly and Mrs. Alice Robers, both of Burlington; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, a sister and a brother.
RICHTER-Funeral services for the late Frank T. Richter, 749 Crestwood Ave., Burlington, WI, who passed away Oct. 29th will be held 8 p.m. Fri., Oct. 31st at St. Charles Catholic Church, Burlington. Interment in St. Alphonsus cemetery, New Munster. Friends may call from 3 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Friday at the McCarthy-Koenig Funeral Home, 101 E. State St., Burlington.
