Age 72. Passed away Friday, January 30, 1976 at Burlington Memorial Hospital Mr. Wieners was born on January 13, 1904 in Spring Prairie, Wis. to Edward and Katherine (Rossmiller) Wieners. He was educated in Lyons, Wis. and Burlington High School. On April 15, 1931 at St. Mary's Catholic Burlington he was united in marriage to the former Mabel Ketterhagen. Following their marriage they resided in Burlington and had been lifelong residents. Mr. Wieners was a farmer in the Burlington area. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Catholic Order of Foresters, A.M.P.I. Surviving are his wife, Mabel; three sons and four daughters-in-law, Mark and Betty Wieners, Richard and Katherine Wieners, Ronald and Arlene Wieners, all of Burlington, Joan Wieners of Grove City, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Frank of Spring Prairie, Wis., one sister, Mrs. Floyd (Eda) Henzel of East Troy; Preceded in death by one son, Paul two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 2 at 11:30 a.m. at St Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington, the Rev. Joseph Nadolny will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the McCARTHY KOENING FUNERAL HOME, 473 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington. Vigil Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
