Nancy L. Schlitz, 70, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008, at her home. She was born March 3, 1938, in Burlington to Alfred and Olene B. Fell. On August 31, 1957 in Burlington, Nancy was united in marriage to Wayne E. Schlitz. Nancy was a graduate of Burlington High School and a lifetime resident of Burlington. Nancy was the former owner of Tripco Travel. She was a former member of the Jaycettes, BPW, Burlington Area United Fund, Literacy Center and an Ambassador for the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Wayne Schlitz, their daughters, Jeanne (Kurt) Otter, Joan (Robert) Kawalec and Julie Schlitz, all of Burlington; five grandchildren; and by siblings, Bill (Carol) Fell and Jeanne (Bill) LaBelle, both of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her siblings, Robert Fell, Arlene Pina, Philip Fell and Wendell Fell. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at 7 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Amann officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, from 4 until 6:45 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Memorials to Hospice Alliance-Pleasant Prairie, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158, have been suggested.
