The little daughter of Jas. Kegan living five miles west of Charlotte, in Bloomfield township, was thrown from a wagon and killed on Monday of this week. The little one was left in the wagon, and the team not hitched, became frightened and ran away, throwing the child out, with the above result. This is sufficient comment on the too prevalent custom of leaving teams without hitching, under any circumstances.
