Elizabeth Keegan, 93, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Rock Valley, died Friday, May 1, 1987 in a Sioux Falls hospital.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 1987 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. Donald R. Smith officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday, May 4 in the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Miss Keegan was born February 28, 1894, in Lyon County and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Rock Valley. She taught in rural schools in the Rock Valley area for more than 30 years while living on the family farm northwest of Rock Valley. She moved to Sioux Falls in 1976.

Miss Keegan was active in the Farm Bureau and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Frances Keegan of Doon.
