He is survived by his wife, Melanie Friesen; daughters, Stacey Pattishall (Phillip), Jamie Thorn (Michael) and Michelle & Ashley Friesen; brothers, Drew and Wayne Friesen and three grandchildren, Bobby & Joey Pattishall and Michael Thorn Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2003 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 11801 San Jose Blvd. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
