Mr. Richter was born in Burlington on August 9, 1943. He spend his early life in Lyons Township, moved to Burlington in 1973 and had resided at Rt. 5, Burlington since October 12, 1974. On October 12, 1974 at St. John's Church in Paris, Wis., he was united in marriage to the former Marilyn Willkomm.
Mr. Richter was employed in the Pre Stress Concrete Division of J. W. Peters in Burlington and was a member of St. Mary's Church in Burlington.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn; his parents, Albert and Anne Richter of Burlington; two brothers, Larry and Richard, both of Burlington; three sisters, Mrs. (Julianne) Raboine, Mrs. Roger (Joy) Vieneman, and Mrs. Mary Weis, all of Burlington; mother and father-in-law, Nick and Mary Lou Willkomm of Rt. 2, Union Grove; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5 at 10 a.m. at St, Mary's Church in Burlington. The Rev. Joseph Nadolny will officiate. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Richter will lie in state on Sunday after 3 p.m. at the SCHUETTE, WERTH & DANIELS FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Pine St., Burlington. The Parish Prayer Vigil will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday evening.
