Married--Schemmer-Aurit, at St. Mary's church, Tuesday October 21, a 9 o'clock a.m. by Rev. J. Phelan, Mr. John Schemmer and Miss Kate Aurit. Mr. Ben Schemmer and Miss Quintan acting as best man and bridesmaid; the bride was tastefully attired in white Peau de Sole, while the groom wore the conventional black. After high nuptial mass, the vows were exchanged which made the twain one; a reception and dinner at the home of the bride followed, and in the evening the happy couple left for Sioux City via Perkins; they returned Thursday evening and are now at home over Pember's drug store, which the groom recently purchased. The congratulations of the entire community; go with them along the pathway they have chosen.

Services for Mrs. Catherine M. Schemmer will be at 9 a.m. Thursday the Brown Funeral Home, 13820 Lincoln Ave., Dolton, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church in Riverdale.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chicago.
Mrs. Schemmer, 85, died Monday in the Sarah Wolfe Nursing Home in Chicago Heights.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Irene Denst of Dolton, a son, Frank of Watersmeet, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Marie Warren in Washington; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Schemmer was a retired seamstress of the Chicago Flag Co.
