CADOTT
Edward H. Peterson, 65, Cadott, died Monday Jan. 25, 1999, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
He was born Jan. 9, 1934, in the town of Sigel, the son of Willard and Alvina (Ketterhagen) Peterson. He served in the US. Marine Corp during the Korean War.
Edward married Leila Dawn Churchill on July 15, 1955. They lived in Kenosha moving to the town of Edson where they farmed until the death of his wife when he moved to the town of Goetz.
He is survived by two sons, Kelvin (Velda) Peterson and Lloyd Peterson, both of Fall Creek; daughters, Audrey (Richard) Yeager of Holcombe, Pamela (Tony) Rhodes of Waupon, Cathy (Al) Davis of Merrillan, Mary (William) Teeters of Boyd; brothers, Willard (Sonny) Peterson of Eleva, Theodore and James Peterson, both Cadott, Roger and Leonard, both of Wilmont, and LaVerne Peterson of Merrillan; a sister, Dorothy Kock of Oxford; a special friend, Liz Przybylski of Cadott; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leila; his parents; brothers, Raymond and Jerry Peterson; sisters, RoseAnn Greene, Marion Bowman, Catherine Peterson; and a grandson, Randy Gindt.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cadott, with Father Thomas Crowley officiating. Spring burial will be in the Cornell Cemetery in Cornell. Military services will be conducted by the Cadott American Legion and V.F.W.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, where there will be an 8 p.m. Vigil Prayer Service.
