Roseann A. Greene, 57, Route 2, Cadott, town of Sigel, died Friday, Feb. 25, 1994, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
She was born July 27, 1936, at Chippewa Falls, to Willard and Alvina (Ketterhagen) Peterson. She grew up in town of Sigel, graduated from Cadott High School in 1954, was married to Jack Greene on Aug. 4, 1954, in Cadott.
Following their marriage, they lived in the town of Sigel. In 1962, they moved to the town Of Goetz, where they farmed until 1981, when they moved back to the town of Sigel.
Roseann was employed at the Northern Center for nine years and was currently a cook at the Cadott High School. She was a member of the Big Drywood Lutheran Church where she served on various committees.
Survivors include her husband Jack; two sons, Tom Greene of Stacey, Minn., and Eugene Greene of Cadott; two daughters, Karen Stoll of Chippewa Falls, and Vickie Elstran Of Cadott; eight brothers, Edward, James and Jerry Peterson of Cadott, Willard Jr., of Chimney Rock, Lavern of Merrillan, and Roger, Leonard and Ted of Wilmont; Dorothy Koch of Oxford; 10 grandchildren, Jill, Luke, Derek, Lisa, Chad and Cory Greene, Mandy and Tiffany Semanko, and Jennifer and Leann Elstran.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ray, and one sister, Marion Bowman.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Big Drywood Lutheran Church in Drywood with the Rev. Steven Kaste officiating. Spring burial will be at Brooklawn Cemetery in Cadott.
Friends may call at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott 4-8 p.m. Monday and for one hour before services on Tuesday at church.
