Joby Peterson, 20, Salem, died Saturday (July 16, 1988), due to injuries sustained in an auto accident Saturday morning in Salem.
A lifelong Salem resident, he was born Oct. 2, 1967, the son of Theodore and Marion (LeMay) Peterson.
He attended Wilmot High School, and was employed as a machinist at Rago Machine Shop, Spring Grove, Ill.
He is survived by his father, of Camp Lake, Wis.; his mother, of Salem; two brothers, Scott and Rick Peterson, both of Silver Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Dennis (Loni) Cooper, Nora, Ill, and Mrs. Larry (Shelli) Meierdirk, Johnsburg, Ill.; a grandfather, Willard Peterson, Cadott, Wis.; four nieces; and a nephew.
Strang Funeral Home, Antioch, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
PETERSON—Funeral services for the late Joby Peterson, a resident of Salem, WI, who passed away Saturday, July 16th will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, July 19th at the United Methodist Church of Salem WI. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery, Trevor, WI. Friends may call from 4:00 until 9:00 PM Monday at the Strang Funeral Home, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL and from 10 AM until time of services at the United Methodist Church of Salem, WI.
