Mrs. Edward Peterson, 40, Rt. 3, died Saturday of injuries received in an auto accident in the Town of Lafayette.
The former Leila Churchill was born in the Town of Arthur, Chippewa County, and graduated from Cadott High School. She was married at Oceanside, Calif., July 15, 1955, and the couple lived at Kenosha before moving to a farm here. Mrs. Peterson was employed by Amoco Plastic Products Co,. Chippewa Falls.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kelvin, with the U.S. Navy in Adak, Alaska. Lloyd, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Rick Yeager, Holcombe, Mrs. Duane Gindt, Boyd, Mary Ellen and Catherine Mary, both at home; her father, Forrest Churchill, Holcombe; two brothers, Duane, in Alaska, Winston, Tomah; four sisters, Mrs. Robert Novotney, Anchorage, Alaska. Mrs. Alois Prosecky, rural Chippewa Falls, Mrs. William LeMay, Sheldon, Mrs. Gary Cowell, Holcombe; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Leiser Funeral Home here, with burial in Cornell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Casket will be closed.
