Age 54. Passed away suddenly on September 19, 1983, at North Woods Hospital, Phelps, WI. He was born on February 23, 1929, in Burlington, WI, to Thomas E. and Verna (Eddy) Busch. Spent his early in Burlington and was educated at St. Charles Grade and St. Mary's High School. He was married on June 25, 1955, in Burlington, to Mary Jane Tenwinkle. Following their marriage they lived in Burlington. He was a motor pump operator and dispatcher for the City of Burlington Fire Dept. since 1969. He was a meber of St. Charles Catholic Church and served in the US Navy from 1946-1950.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane; his mother, Verna Busch of East Troy, WI; one son, Peter Busch of Burlington; two daughters and one son-in-law, LuAnn and William Schwedler and Barbara Busch of Burlington; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Francis Wagner of East Troy; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Marge Busch of Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 23, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, Burlington, with Rev. Raymond Andre officiating. Interment will be St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the McCARTHY-KOENIG FUNERAL HOME, 101 E. State St., Burlington, with the Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials to the City of Burlington Fire Dept. suggested.
