Mrs. Richard W. Robers, 45, Rt. 3. Burlington, died this morning at Burlington Memorial Hospital.
She was born Patricia McCarthy in Burlington on Jan. 16, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. McCarthy. She spent her early life in Honey Creek, Burlington and Wilmot. She attended Mound Center grade school and Wilmot High School.
At Holy Name church, Wilmot, on Aug. 28, 1945, she married Richard W. Robers. They resided in Bassett for five years, and moved to Burlington in 1950. Mrs. Robers had been employed as a waitress in a Burlington restaurant. She was a member of St. Charles church, Burlington, and of the St. Ann society.
Survivors besides her husband are two sons, Richard P., with the Air Force in Dover, Del., and Kurt, at home; a daughter, Miss Christine E. Roberts, Platteville; her mother, Mrs. Margaret McCarthy, Burlington; a sister; Mrs. Francis (Lucille) DeGrave, Racine, and two brothers, Frank J. McCarthy, Richfield, Wis., and Phillip J., Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her father and by a brother, Charles.
ROBERS - Funeral services the late Mrs. Richard W. (Patricia) Robes, Route 3, Burlington, Wis., who passed away March 30th will be held Thursday, April 1 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Charles Catholic Church, Burlington. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 P.M., on Wednesday at McCarthy-Koenig Funeral Home, 481 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington, Wis. Vigil service 8 P.M., Wednesday.
