Shirley A. (nee Belau) Richter of Mequon entered into eternal life on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007 at the age of 76.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Shirley at 10:30 a.m. today, Jan. 3, at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2700 W. Mequon Road (corner North Range Line Road) in Mequon. Please meet at church.
A prayer service was held yesterday at the Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home in Mequon and the family received friends prior to the service.
The burial will be held privately for the family at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Shirley was the greatest wife, mother, grandmother and friend, always a source of inspiration and a teacher of life. She will be forever missed and loved.
Shirley was the beloved wife for 51 years of Richard B.; the loving mother of Richard J. (Mary), Paul D. (Liz), Jean M., Patrick W. (Stacy) and Brandt C. Richter; and the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren. She was further survived by other loving relatives and many dear friends.
Memorials in Shirley's name may be directed to the Ozaukee County Humane Society.
