90, of New Port Richey, died Monday (July 31, 2006) in the Marliere Hospice Care Center on Rowan Road in New Port Richey. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and first came to New Port Richey in 1933 after her marriage to Walter A. Casson, Sr., a pioneer resident of Pasco County. After her husband's death she worked as a secretary for C. Fred Deuel & Associates in their local engineering office. Later she was the secretary in County Judge William H. Seaver's NPR office. She became a Registered Real Estate Broker and together with her husband, Herbert L. Linneman, was active in real estate sales for many years. She became a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of New Port Richey in 1947 and continued her membership in the church until her death. Survivors include her four children: Walter A. Casson, Jr. and Lauzanne; Gail Casson Foster and Harold; Charles "Peck" Casson; Judith Casson Sanchez Flesch and Terry; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren: Leonard and Susan Casson, Andrew and Emily; Dena and Jeffrey Shaffer; Cam and Kevin Marshall, Michaela and Jordyn; Brandi and Shawn Nally; Greg and Emily Casson, Ally, Michael and Hayden; Max and Jen Foster, Hugh; Choel and Robbie Hanley, Jensyn and Jacey; Casey and J.J. Scandura, Hayley and Luke; and Kade Sanchez. The family will be receiving guests at Faupel Funeral Horne, 7524 Ridge Road, Port Richey, FL 34668, from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 pm., Thursday, August 3, 2006. A celebration of her life will be held at First Baptist Church, 6561 Circle Boulevard, New Port Richey, FL, 34652, at 10 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2006, followed by entombment at North Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens in New Port Richey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of New Port Richey or Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 12107 Majestic Boulevard, Hudson, FL 34667.
