The remains Mrs. John C. Hoffman of Racine were brought here last Wednesday from the state asylum at Mendota and the funeral was held on Thursday morning at nine o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic church, Rev. T. Jacobs officiating. The deceased was a daughter of Geo. Rossmiller and wife of this city and was 36 years old. She had been a great sufferer from nervous trouble for over a year. She was married to Mr. Hoffman in 1896 and had spent most of that time since in Racine. She is survived by a husband and three children.
