Passed away on Saturday, June 8, 1985, at St. Mary's Medical Center at the age of 68. Mr. Jensen was born in Racine on February 9, 1917, and had been a lifetime resident. On July 27, 1946, at St. John Nepomuk Church he was united in marriage to the former Audrey Schulte. Mr. Jensen served with the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He had been employed by JI Case Co. for over 43 years, retiring in 1980. Mr. Jensen was a member oi St. Edward's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council b97, the 4th Degree Msgr. A. Weiler Council, the JI Case 20 Year Club. A.I.I.E., the A.F.A., an active amateur radio operator, and the Mega Club. Surviving are his wife, Audrey; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Mary Jensen Thousand Oakes, CA; William and Jeanette Jensen of Racine; seven grandchildren; Anne, Michael, Christopher, Peter, Thomas, John and Patrick; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Walter Jensen, Wallace and June Jensen, all of Racine, Ralph and Sally Jensen of Port Angeles, WA; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Priscilla and Myron Knapp of Greenfield, Nancy and Orville Vertz of Kenosha, Jane and Don Schellet, Lois and Richard Foz, all oi Racine; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Mr. Jensen was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marie Jensen. RELATIVES AND FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT ST. EDWARD'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 15th and Grove Ave., on Tuesday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m. for the funeral Mass with Rev. Howard Haase officiating. Burial will take Wednesday morning at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kinzie Ave. Visitation will be held at the Church from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass on Tuesday. The family has suggested memorials to St. Catherine's High School, the K. of C.'s Building Fund, or one's favorite charity.
