Burlington Man Dies After a Long Illness
Henry Rossmiller, life-long resident of Burlington, died at 10 p.m. Friday at his home on Geneva street. Mrs. Rossmiller had been seriously ill for the last year.
Mr. Rossmiller was born in Burlington Dec. 23, 1875, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Rossmiller. On Nov. 27, 1906, he was married to Katherine Richter at St. Mary's church, Burlington. Following their marriage, they made their home in Burlington.
Surviving are his wife, five children, Lyle, Lucille, Charles, Everett, all of Burlington, and Herbert, San Diego, Calif.; a, sister, Mrs. William Forge, Burlington; two brothers, George Rossmiller, Elroy, Wis., and John Rossmiller, Racine.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic church. Rev. Edward Kersting, pastor of St. Mary's, will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Mary's cemetery.
Friends may call at the McCarthy funeral home until the time of services.
